Thanks to the amazing and dedicated Pokémon community in our area, for the last several prereleases have completely sold out of kits! That said, Pokémon has increased the number of kits we are able to have! We hope to cater to more people who would like to play.
Don't know what prerelease is? Prerelease is much more than a chance to play with cards from the newest set ahead of release, it's an opportunity to celebrate the release by opening packs and building decks with other enthusiasts! Plus, players can earn more Pitch Black packs just for playing!!!
The purchase of a ticket includes a secured seat for the chosen date, a Pitch Black Build & Battle kit with one of four promo cards, and hours of fun!!! You will receive your kit at the start of the event when you can crack it open and build a deck from its contents. Then, you get to test your deck against other players to earn more Pitch Black packs in prize support.
It is one of our favorite events. Pitch Black product will not be available for sale during prerelease. However, Pitch Black early release will happen on Wednesday, July 15th at open!
